As an Assistant Community Manager at Wendover, you’ll be the front line of hospitality and service—welcoming new residents, supporting current ones, and helping the Community Manager bring our vision to life. From leasing and renewals to event planning and digital engagement, you’ll ensure that every interaction reflects the care and connection we value most. This role is a key part of the on-site team and works under the leadership of the Community Manager to ensure the community operates smoothly, successfully, and in alignment with our Wendover values and standards.Â
Your Impact – In Partnership with the Community ManagerÂ
- Manage leasing and renewal activities to support occupancy and revenue goalsÂ
- Maintain accurate leasing files, applications, and documentation to support audits and compliance Â
- Assist with rent collection and track unit availability to ensure accurate reportingÂ
- Collaborate on the development and execution of community events and resident engagement activitiesÂ
- Coordinate digital marketing efforts across Internet Listing Services (ILS) and social media platforms, optimizing listings, visuals, and messaging to support occupancy and brand visibility.Â
- Coordinate with vendors and maintenance staff to ensure timely work orders and clean unit turnsÂ
- Process invoices timely and assist with budget tracking and variance reporting Â
- Provide prompt, professional and supportive service to residents, vendors, team members, auditors and ownershipÂ
- Uphold our Wendover standards of quality, cleanliness, and resident satisfactionÂ
- Collaborate with office staff on community projects or resident needs as requestedÂ
What You BringÂ
- Highschool or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferredÂ
- Industry certifications such as CALP or CAM are a plus Â
- Prior experience in property management required Â
- Solid understanding of leasing processes and (LITECH for our affordable communities) compliance standardsÂ
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry‑specific property management and maintenance tracking systems, with the ability to accurately document, manage data, communicate efficiently, and support data‑driven decision‑makingÂ
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skillsÂ
- Highly organized with strong time management abilitiesÂ
- A service-first mindset and the ability to collaborate across departmentsÂ
- Professional presence, adaptability, and a proactive attitudeÂ

Working Conditions & ExpectationsÂ
This is a full-time, on-site role with standard hours, weekend work, and occasional overtime as needed to support leasing traffic, resident events, or special community needs. This role is active and hands-on, requiring physical stamina, agility, and attention to detail to ensure a safe, well-maintained community.Â
- Frequent interaction with residents, teammates, vendors, and prospects in-person, by phone, and via email or textÂ
- Position requires walking the property regularly, entering units, and supporting team members across the leasing office and community spacesÂ
- May involve lifting marketing materials or light office supplies (up to 25 lbs.)Â
Dress code is professional and consistent with Wendover’s polished, approachable brandÂ
- Must maintain confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism at all timesÂ
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally for errands or marketing drops may be occasionally requiredÂ

Compensation includes base pay plus performance-based bonuses.Â
