Position Summary 

The Renovations Technician II is responsible for carrying out a wide range of renovation tasks within the organization. This role involves assisting in renovation projects and repairs and ensuring that work is completed to high standards of quality and safety.

 

Essential Duties and Functions 

  • Perform and assist on various renovation tasks, including carpentry, drywall installation, painting, flooring, and plumbing.
  • Handle repairs as required. 
  • Ensures work performed complies with local building codes, regulations, and meets WEL community standards. 
  • Ensures materials, tools, and equipment are used as designed. 
  • Follow safety protocols and practices on renovation sites. 

 

Qualifications include: 

  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in renovations team or construction crew. Preferably in a health care setting. 
  • Proficient in at least one renovation technique, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and fire protection. 
  • Painting experience is required.

 

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 

 

Licensure/Certification: 

  • OSHA 10-hour certification.
