This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors by minimizing the risk of infection within the healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and monitor infection control programs and policies in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices. - Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential areas of improvement in infection prevention and control. - Provide education and training to healthcare staff on infection control practices and protocols. - Collaborate with healthcare teams to investigate and manage outbreaks, ensuring swift and effective response to infection-related incidents. - Maintain accurate records and reports related to infection control activities and outcomes. - Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in infection prevention and control to continuously enhance the agency's practices. - Liaise with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance with national and local infection control standards.Qualifications Required Education: - Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Public Health, or a related field. A Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred. Required Experience: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in infection prevention and control within a healthcare setting. - Proven track record in managing and leading teams effectively. - Experience in developing and implementing infection control policies and procedures. - Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements related to infection control.
