Job DetailsJob Location: BRYSON CITY, NC 28713Position Type: SeasonalSalary Range: $16.00 - $18.00 HourlyDivision/Department: Reservations Job Title: Cleaning Attendant Reports To: Co-reports to Cleaning Lead and Cleaning & Parking Manager Type of position: Non-Exempt / Hourly  Employee Classification: Seasonal Location: Bryson City, NC Compensation: $16-18 hourly  Job Summary: To perform required cleaning duties ensuring that train cars and company facilities are clean and ready to facilitate an exceptional customer experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform a variety of cleaning duties including, but not limited to, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, washing walls, cleaning windows, etc.  Report to the Cleaning Manager for special instructions on tasks to be completed during daily workflow.  Clean train cars utilizing cleaning checklist, ensuring exceptional quality workmanship and inspection of facilities. Work as part of Train Cleaning Department Team to achieve department goals/projections. Ensure familiarity with the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) on all products used.  Assist the Shift Supervisor in gathering the necessary supplies for the day’s work.  Be security minded and assume responsibility for security while working independently in any area.  If an area is found to need additional attention, be prepared to assist in correcting any problems as assigned by the Manager.  Maintain Cleaning Department storage areas, keeping them neat, clean, and adequately stocked with cleaning products.  Report to the Manager any problem areas you encounter while performing your required tasks.  Other duties as requested by department manager and/or GSMR senior mgmt.  Work Environment: Working with a mop, mop bucket, broom, vacuum, etc.  Operating golf cart/ cleaning van to complete tasks Varying work hours, depending on train schedule, primarily late afternoons, and evenings.   QualificationsEducation, Skill and Work Experience Requirements: Having a valid driver’s license, preferred Prior cleaning and/or janitorial experience preferred.    Must be able to lift and carry 15 lbs.
