Job DetailsJob Location: BRYSON CITY, NC 28713Job Title: Crowd Control Supervisor Reports To: Business and Safety Manager Type of Position: Non-Exempt / Hourly Employee Classification: Seasonal/Temporary Location: Bryson City Compensation: $15-19 hourly Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing crowd control staff and ensuring the safety, efficiency, and smooth flow of passengers during all points of POLAR EXPRESS train excursions. Coordinates with the Business and Safety Manager to maintain operational standards and address any issues promptly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate crowd control staff during train excursions. Ensure staff are directing passengers to the correct boarding/waiting areas. Monitor crowd behavior and intervene when necessary to maintain order and safety. Provide guidance and support to staff in handling customer service inquiries. Ensure staff maintain constant vigilance and avoid distractions. Coordinate efforts to keep train tracks clear of people. Oversee crowd exit procedures after train deboarding. Communicate regularly with the Business and Safety Manager regarding operations. Assist with seating arrangements when requested. Perform other duties as assigned by the Business and Safety Manager. Work Environment: Flexible schedule required, including night, weekend, and holiday hours. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Work is conducted outdoors and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions.
