CNC Programmer

CNC PROGRAMMER (Permanent)
Our client,a global manufacturing organization with headquarters in WNY, is looking to adda CNC Programmer to their team. This is a great opportunity for a programmer whoalso enjoys working on the shop floor, as well as behind a computer.

Responsibilities:

·       Utilize G-Code,Mazatrol, and various conversational programming methods to develop &modify CNC programs for CNC lathes, multi-axis machining centers and mills

·       Develop setup documents,complete tooling packages, and programming instructions to support efficientand repeatable production processes

·       Create andimplement simple fixtures, manufacturing aids, and workholding solutions to increaseefficiency, consistency, and manufacturability

·       Collaborate withmachinists when troubleshooting, during program prove-out, and while completingcontinuous improvement initiatives

·       Analyzetroubleshoot, and resolve machining issues as they arise in order to optimizecycle times

·       Utilizeestablished manufacturing work papers while performing detailed/accurateprogramming to validate production routing and machining methods  

·       Partner withManufacturing Engineering team members to create new/updated manufacturing processesand proper implementation

·       Utilize precisioninspection techniques and quality measurement practices to verify machiningaccuracy

·       Maintain detailed,up-to-date technical & manufacturing documentation

·       Participate in fosteringa culture of teamwork, integrity, continuous improvement, and customer-focusedmanufacturing performance

·       Workwell both independently and in a team environment

·       Otherduties as assigned/as necessary

Details:

·       Positionis full-time, direct hire

·       100%in-office

·       $65,000 - $90,000annually depending on experience

·       Trade school orformal machining training preferred

·       *Must be eligible to access export-controlledinformation in accordance with US export control regulations*

·       2+ years’experience CNC programming experience

·       5+ years CNCmachining & programming experience

·       Proficient programmingutilizing G-code and Mazatrol

·       Experience programmingCNC lathes, mills, and/or multi-axis machining centers

·       Excellentcommunication skills

·       Strongorganization skills and time management skills

·       Strongattention to detail

·       Self-motivated
