WhatĀ You’llĀ DoĀ 

Are you an experienced tax professional with a passion for exceptional client service and sophisticated tax planning? As a Senior Manager on our High Net Worth Tax team, you’ll provide personalized, high-touch service to high net worth individuals and families with complex tax needs. In this role, you’ll lead complex tax planning and compliance engagements, serve as a trusted advisor on sophisticated individual tax matters, and provide technical and team leadership while partnering with clients, firm leadership, and cross-functional teams to drive exceptional service and long-term relationship growth.

Tax Strategy & ComplianceĀ 

  • Lead and review complex individual income tax returns (Form 1040), including sophisticatedĀ multi-state filings, pass-through considerations, investment activity, and related entity structures.Ā Ā 

  • OverseeĀ trust and estate-related filings (Form 1041)Ā and advise on mattersĀ impactingĀ wealth planning, succession, and family tax strategy.Ā Ā 

  • Develop and implement advanced tax planning strategies related toĀ income, investments, equity compensation, trusts, estates, wealth preservation, and closely held business interests.Ā Ā 

  • Serve as aĀ technical subject matter expertĀ on complex individual tax matters, multi-state taxation, and coordination across related entities.Ā Ā 

  • Monitor tax law changes, regulatory developments, and industry trends to proactively advise clients and internal teams on planning opportunities and risks.Ā Ā 

  • Review complex technical work, research, and planning analyses to ensure high-quality client deliverables.Ā Ā 

Client Experience & AdvisoryĀ 

  • Serve as aĀ primary relationship leader and trusted advisorĀ forĀ high net worthĀ clients and families.Ā Ā 

  • Deliver proactive, strategic tax guidance aligned with clients’ evolving financial, investment, and long-term planning goals.Ā Ā 

  • Build andĀ maintainĀ strong, long-term client relationships grounded in trust, responsiveness, and exceptional service.Ā Ā 

  • Collaborate across service lines and specialist teams to deliver integrated solutions and a seamless client experience.Ā Ā 

  • Support practice growth throughĀ client retention, expansion opportunities, referrals, and organic business development activities.Ā Ā 

Team Leadership & DevelopmentĀ 

  • Lead, mentor, and developĀ Managers, Seniors, and Staff,Ā providingĀ technical guidance, coaching, and meaningful performance feedback.Ā Ā 

  • Foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on technical excellence, development, and continuous improvement.Ā Ā 

  • Review work product acroĀ ss engagement teams, ensuring quality, efficiency, and consistency.Ā Ā 

  • Partner with leadershipĀ onĀ workflow management, resource planning, and team development initiatives.Ā Ā 

  • Contribute to training, process improvement, and knowledge sharing efforts across the HNW Tax practice.Ā Ā Ā 

Who You Are

QualificationsĀ 

  • CPA, EA, or JDĀ requiredĀ Ā 

  • Bachelor’s degree in AccountingĀ or related fieldĀ requiredĀ Ā 

  • 8+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience, including significant exposure toĀ high net worthĀ individuals, trusts, estates, and complex individual tax planningĀ Ā 

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex compliance and consulting engagementsĀ Ā 

  • Proven ability to lead client relationships, mentor teams, and navigate sophisticated tax mattersĀ Ā 

  • Strong technical, analytical, communication, and organizational skillsĀ Ā 

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a client-facing environmentĀ Ā 

  • ProficiencyĀ with tax software, research tools, and Microsoft OfficeĀ Ā 

  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipĀ

Estimated Base Range: $110,000 - $210,000*

*Base compensation offered to candidates are determined based on factors such as candidate's relevant skillset, experience, licensure, and certifications, as well as job responsibilities, geography, market considerations, and organizational needs.
