Job DetailsJob Location: BuffSci - Huber Hall (MS II) - Buffalo, NY 14737Salary Range: $39,000.00 - $42,000.00 Salary/yearPSR Specialist The PSR Specialist supports students’ academic, social, and behavioral development by providing individualized assistance and helping students build the skills needed to succeed in school. The specialist works closely with teachers, support staff, and families to create a positive, structured, and supportive environment for students. Responsibilities Provide individualized and small-group support to students. Assist students with academic, social, and behavioral needs. Reinforce positive behaviors and classroom expectations. Help students develop communication, organization, and self-management skills. Monitor student progress and communicate concerns to teachers and support staff. Follow and support student intervention and behavior plans. Maintain accurate documentation of student services and progress. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families. Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Participate in meetings, professional development, and other school activities as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in education, human services, psychology, or a related field preferred. Experience working with children or students preferred. Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with students who have diverse academic, social, and behavioral needs. Dependable, professional, and committed to student success.
