Job Details: Job Location: GA, Buford - Phillips State Prison - Buford, GA, Position Type: Full-Time, Education Level: High School Diploma/GED, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Behavioral Health Professional & Support, Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health and dental services to the Georgia Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a full time  Activity Technician /Therapist to join our team at the Phillips State Prison in Buford, Georgia.The Activity Technician/Therapist is under the direction of professional mental health staff, and uses recreational/social/vocational activities to accomplish treatment objectives, foster skill building and problem solving in support of psychological stabilization for patients in a correctional setting. Qualifications: Schedule: M-F on day shift Qualifications Two (2) years of experience in Therapeutic Recreation or related field providing activities programming for persons who have a serious mental illness required Must have an active Basic Life Support certification. Training, experience or certification as an aide, medical technician, EMT, or activities technician preferred. Experience working in a correctional mental health setting preferred.
