THE ROLEÂ Â
The Event Sales Director drives venue revenue by owning a high-volume book of business, supporting core sales routines, and elevating sales execution across the market. This role balances personal selling with team leadership, cross-functional alignment, and operational accuracy to deliver predictable growth and a best-in-class guest experience.Â

As a leader of a high-energy, guest-facing venue, this role requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with availability to work extended hours during peak periods, special events, and high-volume seasons.The role will require weekly travel amongst assigned venue locations.Â

Manage a high-volume pipeline of inbound leads while executing consistent daily outbound business developmentÂ
Build and expand client relationships by identifying upsell opportunities and driving repeat businessÂ
Deliver in-person selling experiences through site tours and client touchpoints that convert and retain accountsÂ
Maximize lifetime value across venues by growing and retaining your top accountsÂ

Execute with PrecisionÂ
Facilitate BEO meetings across venues to ensure accurate event details and seamless executionÂ
Ensure event readiness by managing packets, payments, and key operational detailsÂ
Review daily performance metrics and pipeline reports to stay ahead of targets and identify gapsÂ
Maintain pipeline accuracy and data integrity to support smart forecasting and decision-makingÂ

Lead & Develop the Admin TeamÂ
Lead and develop a team of Sales Admins virtually and in-person through regular coaching and performance managementÂ
Optimize workflow and drive accountability within the admin function to support venue-level sales efficiencyÂ
Create clarity around expectations and invest in your team's growth and developmentÂ

Stay Aligned with Sales LeadershipÂ
Maintain alignment with Area Director and market venues through regular 1:1s, huddles, and sales meetingsÂ
Keep leadership informed on pipeline health, priorities, and performance with consistency and transparencyÂ

QUALIFICATIONSÂ
5+ years of progressive sales experience, including leadership of direct reportsÂ
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be consideredÂ
Proven success in high-volume events or hospitality sales environmentsÂ
Progressive, relevant experience within the hospitality industry preferredÂ
Strong proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM; Excel and reporting toolsÂ
Must be 21 years of age or older as required by state or local lawÂ
Â
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSÂ
Ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time, including working at a desk, computer workstation, or within the venueÂ
Ability to regularly move throughout the venue to conduct site tours, support event setup walkthroughs, and engage with guests and operational teamsÂ
Ability to travel amongst assigned venue locations weekly  Â
Ability to occasionally lift, carry, and/or move up to 25 pounds Â
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, in person, by phone, and electronically; including high-volume client outreach and internal team communicationsÂ
Ability to hear and respond to verbal communication in a venue environment, including areas with moderate to high levels of background noise during events and peak service periodsÂ
Visual acuity sufficient to read documents, computer screens, CRM dashboards, BEOs, and written correspondenceÂ
