The Impact You'll Make As our Payroll and Benefits Specialist / Coordinator, you’ll be the trusted go-to for all things pay and benefits. You’ll ensure every paycheck is accurate, every benefit is set up correctly, and every compliance requirement is met—across multiple states. Your work will directly impact employee satisfaction, financial well-being, and trust in the organization. You’ll also be a key player in keeping us compliant with state and federal regulations, making sure our processes run smoothly and efficiently. What You'll Do Process payroll accurately and on time using Paycom, ensuring compliance with multi-state wage and hour laws. Set up, maintain, and audit company benefits programs—including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans. Manage 401(k) plan setup, enrollments, contributions, and compliance reporting. Coordinate child support orders, wage garnishments, and other court-mandated deductions. Report wages to the Department of Labor for multiple states and respond to unemployment claims. Handle employment verification requests and process them in a timely, compliant manner. Use E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility for new hires. Maintain accurate employee records in Paycom, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Collaborate with HR and Finance to streamline payroll and benefits processes. Prepare and deliver payroll and benefits reports for leadership and audits. What You'll Bring Proven experience with Paycom payroll and HRIS systems. Hands-on experience setting up and maintaining employee benefits programs. Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll compliance, wage reporting, and DOL requirements. Experience managing 401(k) plans, including setup, contributions, and compliance. Familiarity with child support orders, wage garnishments, and unemployment claims. Proficiency with E-Verify and employment verification processes. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
