Press Operator - Injection Molding

Why Lavelle? We are growing and adding to our team! We have a need for additional vertical press machine operators, on multiple shifts, at our Burlington, WI facility. The right person for this position must meet a minimum height of 5’6” and is someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and does not mind repetitive work in a factory environment. Reliable attendance, dedication to tasks and the ability to learn from feedback are sought after traits of our team members.

 Shifts available:

8-hour schedule  12-hour schedule

2nd shift (3:00pm to 11:00pm, Monday - Friday)  7:00pm – 7:00am on a 2-2-3 schedule

3rd shift (11:00pm to 7:00am, Sunday night - Friday morning)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.72 per hour

Work Location: In person, Burlington, WI

Requirements

  What will you be doing?

• Performing machine adjustments (startup, running, shutdown) needed to maintain part quality and production targets.
• Performing minor servicing of the press, including, but not limited to: feeding stock, spraying mold, and removal of stuck parts.
• Engaging in continuous learning of new skills and equipment to keep our process up to date and efficient. This includes cross training to gain skills in other departments, as well as training others within your work area.
• Recording and submitting production quality data for record keeping purposes.
• Contributing to our safe environment by following safety procedures and making suggestions.
  

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Operators MUST be a minimum of 5 ft. 6 inches tall, due to safety and ergonomics.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand for the entirety of your shift in a manufacturing environment.
• Factory environment with exposure to dust, noise, and temperature variations (no controlled temperatures)

• Ability to understand and use measuring devices.
• Ability to perform the job and meet production and quality targets on a consistent basis.
• Good attendance, dedication to work/company and ability to learn from mistakes.
