Vehicle Equipment Installer

Description

We are seeking a full-time, first shift Vehicle Equipment Installer with a variety of skills and experience to assist in building and installing components in custom vehicles. The role is also responsible for installing lift gates and junction boxes for tail lights on specialty vehicles.

Job responsibilities include:

• Reading and understanding blueprints, wiring diagrams, and vehicle specifications.
• Installing components to support 12 volt and 120/240-volt applications on custom vehicles including; Generators, Batteries, Leveling systems, fuel based heaters, power converters, isolators, alternators, and rooftop ac units
• Performing diagnostic tests and writing accurate reports at final inspection.
• Working on a creeper under a vehicle to install cables, fuel lines, exhaust, and other equipment.

Requirements

Candidates should have these qualifications:

• Experience with power tools, wiring, and measuring is desired, but we are willing to train the right people!    
• Must be willing to work on a creeper under a vehicle.
• Pneumatic and hydraulic experience is a plus.
• Quality, accuracy, and the ability to work within a crew in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
