Summary

City Market Co-Op is seeking a full -time temporary Community Engagement Coordinator, who has an interest in supporting the Membership department’s daily functions with a variety of administrative tasks.

Day-to-Day Duties 

  • Support overall Community & Marketing initiatives with a focus on Membership programming and communication.
  • Enter Member information and equity into the Membership database, process paperwork, and communicate with partners to ensure timely entry of information.
  • Enter Member Worker data in Membership database accurately and in a timely manner and correspond with Members regarding any associated questions.
  • Respond to Member and staff inquiries from the Membership database.
  • With oversight from the Membership Manager, create and coordinate all reminders to Members regarding equity and Food for All membership renewals.
  • Activate new Food for All cards for back stock at Customer Service.
  • Ensure constant supply of new Member packets for Front End at both stores.
  • Assist with brochure printing and folding, and laminating and cutting signs, as needed.
  • Keep track of daily Rally for Change statistics.
  • Scan new Member paperwork into digitized system per current procedures.
  • Reconcile monthly in-store charge account statements for department.

 Qualifications

  • Two years of administrative experience required OR three years of customer service or grocery retail experience required.
  • High School diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Knowledge of natural and conventional foods and the food industry preferred.
  • Experience with data entry preferred.
  • Public speaking experience preferred.
