Havenwood of Burnsville is looking for a Part-Time Cook to join our dining services team! We are seeking someone who enjoys preparing delicious meals, takes pride in their work, and loves being part of a team that makes a difference in the lives of our residents.

This position is ideal for someone looking to work 2–3 days per week, including every other weekend, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts and potentially work more hours based on availability and community needs.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of the Chef/Cook:

  • Be clean and organized.
  • Create great tasting food that looks amazing!
  • Manage your time effectively.
  • Show your experience in making good tasting beautifully presented meals. 
  • Assist with serving of meals and washing dishes.
  • Visit customers in the dining room.
  • Be kind and friendly.
  • Support team members and residents to live their best life!

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

  • High school diploma
  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Minimum of one year restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience.
