As a Head Start Teacher, you'll inspire curiosity, celebrate milestones, and create meaningful learning experiences that help children discover their potential. You'll build trusting relationships with children and families while creating a classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn.

 Key Responsibilities

· Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom where children can learn through exploration and play.

· Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences.

· Foster school readiness and kindergarten readiness.

· Build positive partnerships with families.

· Observe progress and individualize instruction.

· Collaborate with your teaching team to meet Head Start Performance Standards.

Requirements

· Associate degree in Early Childhood Education.

· Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.

· Bachelor's or advanced degree in another field with equivalent ECE coursework and preschool teaching experience.

· A passion for helping young children learn and thrive.

· Strong communication and teamwork.

· Knowledge of child development.

· Positive relationships with children and families.

· Knowledge of Head Start standards or willingness to learn.

· Basic computer skills.
