Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, cost plans, and commercial forecasts.
Prepare periodic cost reports, cash-flow forecasts, financial analyses, and management reports.
Review contractor invoices and payment certificates and recommend certified amounts to the client.
Monitor project expenditures and identify potential cost overruns and corrective actions.
Manage variations, change orders, and change-control processes.
Evaluate contractor claims, extensions of time, and commercial submissions.
Support negotiations, dispute resolution, and claim settlement activities.
Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
Identify commercial and contractual risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
Coordinate with contracts, procurement, finance, engineering, and construction teams.
Support tender evaluations and commercial negotiations with contractors and suppliers.
Provide commercial advice and recommendations to the client and senior management.
Lead and develop the commercial and cost-control team.
Maintain accurate commercial records, reports, and supporting documentation

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
Strong PMC, consultancy, or client-side experience.
Experience in large-scale or mega construction projects.
Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Experience in payment certification, variations, claims, and contract administration.
Good knowledge of construction contracts; FIDIC experience is preferred.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost-management or ERP systems.
Excellent command of English.
PMP, MRICS, or equivalent certification is preferred.
