Job Title: Project Manager (PMC Level)
The Project Manager leads and integrates the end-to-end delivery of large-scale and mega construction projects on behalf of the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) and client organization. Serving as the primary client-facing leader, this role is accountable for governing project baselines, aligning developers, design consultants, and Tier 1 contractors, proactively managing risk registers, and ensuring milestones are met within defined scope, budget, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Direct all phases of the project lifecycle from pre-construction coordination through construction, testing, commissioning, and project closeout.
Serve as the principal client-facing representative, maintaining direct stakeholder communication, reporting on project health, and securing timely client approvals.
Supervise and coordinate Tier 1 general contractors, engineering consultants, and trade packages to ensure strict alignment with contractual commitments and specifications.
Govern project controls, tracking master program schedules, critical path milestones, and project recovery plans using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Implement structured risk management processes to identify, evaluate, and mitigate commercial, programmatic, and technical project risks.
Lead contract administration, evaluating contractor claims, scope variations, change orders, and monthly progress payment valuations.
Facilitate value-engineering exercises and constructability reviews to optimize capital expenditure without compromising design integrity or safety standards.
Monitor project QA/QC and HSE performance standards, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and client benchmarks.
Requirements
Education & Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture — Mandatory.
Master’s Degree in Project Management or MBA — Preferred.
Experience Requirements
Minimum Experience: 12+ years of post-qualification project management experience in the built-environment sector.
Certifications & Technical Competencies
Project Management Professional (PMP) — Mandatory / Strongly Preferred.
PRINCE2 Certification — Advantage.
Risk Management Certification (e.g., PMI-RMP) — Advantage.
Primavera P6 / MS Project — Proficiency in program oversight and baseline tracking (Preferred).
