About the role:

  • Lead and resolveĀ complexĀ manufacturingĀ investigationsĀ acrossĀ allĀ commercial products.Ā 

  • Lead andĀ manageĀ taskĀ forcesĀ toĀ addressĀ criticalĀ situationsĀ effectively.Ā 

  • DevelopĀ andĀ implementĀ problem-solvingĀ methodologiesĀ 

  • Champion theĀ integrationĀ of AI andĀ digitalĀ toolsĀ intoĀ manufacturingĀ troubleshootingĀ and decision-making.Ā 

  • LeadĀ digitalĀ transformationĀ initiativesĀ toĀ modernizeĀ investigationĀ processesĀ andĀ operationalĀ excellenceĀ frameworks.Ā 

How you will contribute:

  • DemonstrateĀ a strong commitment to on-site support,Ā includingĀ frequent, short-noticeĀ global travel and theĀ abilityĀ toĀ spendĀ extendedĀ periodsĀ awayĀ from homeĀ duringĀ criticalĀ events.

  • Lead end-to-endĀ troubleshootingĀ ofĀ complex, high-impact manufacturingĀ issuesĀ toĀ ensureĀ timelyĀ andĀ effectiveĀ resolution.Ā 

  • Stand up andĀ manageĀ cross-functionalĀ taskĀ forcesĀ (internalĀ sitesĀ andĀ CMOs) toĀ addressĀ urgent, business-criticalĀ challenges.Ā 

  • Design,Ā standardize, andĀ continuouslyĀ improveĀ problem-solvingĀ methodologiesĀ to driveĀ structured, data-drivenĀ decisionĀ making.Ā 

  • Partner with cross-functionalĀ stakeholders toĀ identify,Ā prioritize, andĀ implementĀ processĀ improvementsĀ and innovationĀ opportunities.Ā 

  • ApplyĀ advancedĀ data analytics and AI tools to solveĀ complexĀ manufacturingĀ problemsĀ andĀ enhanceĀ operationalĀ decisionĀ making.Ā

What you bring to Takeda:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. An advanced degree (MS or PhD) is preferred.Ā 

  • Minimum 7-10Ā years experienceĀ in manufacturing, troubleshootingĀ methodology, best practices, and creating business processes.Ā 

  • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification or equivalent process improvement certificationĀ 

  • Experience in contract manufacturing business is a plusĀ 

  • Strong knowledge of GMP and regulatory compliance standards (FDA, EMA, ICH, etc.).Ā 

  • ProficiencyĀ in root cause analysis tools (e.g., Fishbone Diagram, 5 Whys, etc.).Ā 

  • Experience with statistical tools and software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis.Ā 

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple investigations simultaneously.Ā 

  • Proven hands-on experience inĀ DataĀ  AnalyticsĀ isĀ a valuable asset.Ā 

  • Project management experience.Ā 

  • ProficiencyĀ in visualization (Miro, white boards, dashboards,Ā PowerPoint,Ā etc.)Ā 

  • Excellent command of English (both written and oral).Ā 

  • Experience with AI technologies to drive business excellence and transformationĀ
