SAIC is currently seeking a Multinational Joint Training & Exercise Campaign Planner located at Camp Smith in Hawaii to support the USINDOPACOM J75 with the management and coordination of multinational related programs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Develop and refine the Multinational Forces Standing Operating Procedures (MNF SOP) to improve multinational operations. This will include coordination with other offices supporting the Joint Training Exercise and Evaluation Program (JTEEP) to leverage and integrate efforts and documentation (e.g. joint and service doctrine programs, joint and multinational transformation initiatives, and other bilateral and multinational conferences, workshops, and seminars).
  • Advises the J75 on sections requiring review, rewrites and adds new sections to be developed, and recommends adjustment to overall event execution (as required), and incorporates process improvements into subsequent MNF SOP workshops and the program management.
  • Provide instruction on the MNF SOP during select JTEEP events.
  • Coordinate and facilitate workshops in the U.S. and abroad.
  • Coordinate with INDOPACOM staff and other organizations to include Joint Staff J7 and service components.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain efficient protocols, processes, and procedures in support of USINDOPACOM J7 representation within headquarters’ planning activities.
  • Support exercise work group planning meetings, theaters posture planning meetings, and theater engagement planning meetings.
  • Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) related to the MNF SOP and other related JTEEP orders and documents.
  • Produce orders or directives to facilitate guidance for training and exercise planning.
  • International travel up to 20%25 of the year may be required to support the planning and execution of designated exercises.


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors and six (6) years’ of relevant experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase I complete; experience on a joint operational/strategic headquarters staff accepted in lieu of JPME Phase I.
  • Knowledge of the Joint Training Exercise and Evaluation Program (JTEEP), Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) and associated requirements to plan and execute work shops.
  • Proven experience in supporting projects with strict timelines.
  • Experience in training and exercise planning with US Armed Forces, including joint assignments at the operational/strategic level and working with Allies and Partner countries.
  • Experience in planning and managing complex tasks under tight time constraints.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

  • Must have an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Must be a current US Citizen.
