Equipment & Warehouse Operations Specialist
Hoods Unlimited | New Tools USA

Location: 125 Smokehill Lane, Woodstock, GA
Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications

Position Overview
Hoods Unlimited is seeking a dependable, mechanically skilled Equipment & Warehouse Operations Specialist to maintain and repair commercial cleaning equipment, oversee warehouse organization, and ensure our field technicians have the tools and supplies needed to perform their jobs efficiently.

This position will also support our affiliated company, New Tools USA, with product assembly, inventory management, and order fulfillment.

We are looking for a hands-on problem solver with strong mechanical aptitude, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. This is an active, technical role—not a traditional warehouse or administrative position.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Repair
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial pressure washers, pumps, small engines, hoses, fittings, and related equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine equipment inspections to minimize downtime.
  • Repair or replace damaged components and coordinate outside repairs when necessary.
  • Track equipment condition, maintenance history, repair costs, and replacement parts.
Warehouse & Fleet Equipment Readiness
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked warehouse.
  • Prepare, inspect, and replenish equipment and supplies for field technicians.
  • Support weekly vehicle and equipment RESET procedures, ensuring crews are properly equipped.
  • Monitor inventory, manage parts and supply levels, and coordinate purchasing needs.
  • Implement organized storage, equipment tracking, and inventory control procedures.
New Tools USA — Assembly & Fulfillment
  • Assemble, inspect, and test specialized commercial cleaning tools and accessories.
  • Manage product components, finished goods, and packaging inventory.
  • Prepare, package, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Receive incoming materials and assist with product testing and improvements.
  • Maintain organized assembly, quality control, and fulfillment processes.
Operational Support
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, warehouse efficiency, and operating costs.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance, inventory, and fulfillment records.
  • Communicate equipment concerns, supply shortages, and operational needs to management.
  • Take ownership of daily priorities and complete responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Qualifications

Required
  • Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude with demonstrated equipment troubleshooting or repair experience.
  • Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical components.
  • Ability to diagnose problems, perform repairs, and work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and dependable work habits.
  • Basic computer proficiency for inventory and maintenance tracking.
  • Ability to perform physical warehouse duties and safely lift up to 50 lbs., with assistance when appropriate.
  • Valid driver's license.
Preferred
  • Experience repairing commercial pressure washers, pumps, small engines, or industrial equipment.
  • Background in equipment maintenance, mechanical repair, manufacturing, or a related trade.
  • Familiarity with basic electrical systems, plumbing components, or mechanical assembly.
  • Experience with warehouse inventory, shipping, receiving, or product fulfillment.
Formal education is not required. Demonstrated mechanical skills and practical experience are highly valued.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who:
  • Solves problems: Can diagnose mechanical issues and find practical, lasting solutions.
  • Takes initiative: Identifies what needs attention without constant direction.
  • Stays organized: Maintains orderly equipment, inventory, and workspaces.
  • Thinks proactively: Prevents problems instead of simply reacting to them.
  • Takes pride in their work: Values quality, reliability, efficiency, and accountability.
Compensation & Benefits

We believe in rewarding dependable employees and providing a supportive environment where team members can grow.
  • Competitive compensation based on experience and mechanical qualifications.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO), subject to company policy and eligibility.
  • Company-observed paid holidays.
  • Opportunities for professional development and advancement.
  • Consistent, full-time weekday schedule.
  • Supportive, team-oriented work environment.
Please note: Hoods Unlimited does not currently offer employer-sponsored health insurance. We strive to provide competitive compensation, paid time off, and other benefits that support our employees.
