Ignite Pastor

Job Summary: The Ignite Pastor is primarily responsible for leading the college ministry on the campus 
of Southeast Missouri State University and maintaining its relationship with La Croix church.

Primary Accountabilities: The individual filling this position will be held accountable to the following goals and will be successful in this position if these goals are met:

• College aged people on campus will be growing into wholehearted followers of Jesus.
• Lay persons from La Croix will be fully invested in and taking ownership of the outreach to the college aged people on campus.
• Ignite will be known as a place on campus where students can find the gospel, community, be served and counseled, grow and belong.  

Duties & Responsibilities, not limited to: 

• Lead the Ignite college ministry at SEMO, providing vision and accountability
• Serve as pastor to students on campus
• Serve as the main communicator at the weekly Ignite worship experience
• Serve as a communicator at La Croix cape campus as needed
• Equip the Ignite student leaders to lead various areas of ministry at Ignite
• Invite equip and empower volunteers from La Croix to mentor students
• Identify and develop student leaders
• Identify, develop and maintain relationships with Ignite’s mission partners
• Develop and maintain Ignite’s relationship with SEMO campus and staff
• Collaborate with Ignite’s student leaders to plan Ignite worship experiences and outreach events
• Equip and resource Ignite’s small group ministry
• Oversee and manage Ignite’s budget, facilities and residents
• Lead Ignite’s Operational Team
