Reporting directly to the People and Culture Manager, the role contributes to high-performance organisational standards while fostering an inclusive, collaborative workplace environment. This full-time, 6-month contract opportunity provides an ideal framework for an experienced professional to apply structured HR processes, recruitment support, and gain valuable exposure within an international group structure.
Key Responsibilities
Execute first-line recruitment operations, including managing job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, assessment preparation, reference checks, background verification, and employment contract preparation.
Coordinate seamless onboarding experiences by facilitating monthly orientation sessions, assembling new joiner kits, and ensuring all requisite documentation is complete.
Facilitate professional off boarding procedures for departing personnel.
Maintain accurate employee records across internal HR systems, supporting payroll and benefits processing data as required.
Partner with line management to support performance management frameworks, quarterly reviews, goal-setting mechanisms, and employee coaching opportunities.
Support culture and engagement initiatives, including structured rewards, recognition, and workplace inclusivity programs.
Assist in maintaining and updating HR policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and compliance documentation, providing ongoing operational guidance across the organisation.
Requirements
Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (or equivalent tertiary qualification).
2 to 4 years of relevant human resources operational experience.
Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
Comprehensive understanding of South African employment-related laws and regulations.
Demonstrated experience handling compensation and benefits administration.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with a proven ability to perform consistently under pre-determined deadlines.
Experience using human resource information systems, CRM, Google Suite, Google Drive etc.
