ADR Wellness in Carlsbad, CA is hiring for a Part-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist!

  • This is a part-time 20-25 hours per week.
  • Onsite at least 3 days in person

Primary Purpose and Function

The primary goal of the Licensed Therapist position is to provide exceptional clinical treatment services including assessment, treatment planning and therapy to ADR clients. The Licensed Therapist participates as a member of the ADR clinical team and provides a unique perspective to the team in an effort to provide the most comprehensive care for each of our clients. The Licensed Therapist is responsible for effective delivery of clinical care across the therapeutic services that ADR offers.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Reviews and approves treatment plans, clinical documentation, and crisis interventions
  • Acts as a mentor and educator, fostering professional identity and competency development
  • Assumes ultimate clinical, legal, and ethical responsibility for cases held by supervisees
  • Completes and maintains all required BBS supervision documentation and hour verification
  • Provide therapy (which can include a variety of individual, couples, family, and/or marital based on therapists training and interest)
  • Participate in integrated Clinical Team Meetings when held
  • Demonstrate excellent clinical boundaries and ethical decision making
  • Collaborate and execute intake and discharge planning
  • Attend scheduled group or individual supervision meetings with supervisor (if unlicensed)
  • Ability to manage time appropriately and independently
  • Initiates own treatment planning and responsible use of resources
  • Consistent understanding and embodiment of ADR philosophy and culture
  • Knowledge of and skilled at various therapeutic approaches and theoretical orientations.
  • Proficient writing abilities
  • Ability to set boundaries with both clients and staff
  • Ability to communicate in both a timely and articulate manner
  • Self-initiates communication with support staff, adjunct staff and ADR Clinical staff
  • Ability to respond swiftly and calmly during crisis situations
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing clinical services in a behavioral health environment preferred.
  • Comprehensive treatment planning skills required
  • Active licensure, registration, or certification must be maintained in good standing
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to use various software programs
  • Successfully complete comprehensive background check. First Aid and CPR certification is preferred prior to employment.
