How you'll make an impact in this role

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures and accurately select appropriate anatomical and technical parameters to ensure high-quality images.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the scope of practice and in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, recognize and report abnormal responses, and recommend protocol updates or refinements to support quality patient care.
• Follow radiation safety standards and established protocols to minimize unnecessary radiation exposure and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Ensure timely submission of accurate, high-quality images and documentation to PACS; maintain equipment functionality, report malfunctions, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging department.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.  American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
