The Bridgewater Club is a private club with a fun work environment.

The Bridgewater Club is looking for an experienced Swim Instructor to start in August who is passionate about water safety and teaching children ages 2 to 14 and potentially older. We offer 30-minute private and/or semi-private lessons from beginner to advanced, as well as stroke development. Bridgewater’s Swim Instructors must have excellent organizational skills and provide outstanding customer service. They also must be high energy, inspiring, fun, outgoing and enjoy working with children!

Schedule:

We are currently looking for a year-round instructor that is available weekday mornings. Bridgewater offers flexible schedules and competitive pay!

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Teach private and semi-private lessons according to Bridgewater’s Swim School guidelines, policies and procedures.

• Provide excellent customer service to all members and guests.

• Maintains required lesson records and forms.

• Communicate and enforce all water safety rules.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

• Work history in swim lesson instruction.

• Professional

• Organized

• Friendly outgoing personality

• Ability to work with children

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Strong work ethic

Requirements:

• 16 years & older

• 1+ years of experience teaching formal swim lessons or working in a similar field

• Knowledge of swimming strokes and teaching levels

• Competitive swimming background a plus but not required

• Ability to work independently

• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills

• Self-motivated with the ability to work without supervision

• Pass a background check prior to training (for ages 18+)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15/Lesson

Experience:

• 1+ years teaching formal swim lessons

• Competitive swim experience a plus
