Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Speech Language Pathologist, you will be a vital clinician, expertly assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders to significantly improve patient quality of life.

 

Every day, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations for all referred patients, meticulously implementing individualized treatment plans. You'll contribute clinical expertise to develop/upgrade treatment programs/protocols, and actively shape departmental and organizational goals.

 

To be successful in this role, you will possess advanced clinical knowledge, exceptional diagnostic/therapeutic skills, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

  • Evaluations are completed according to department protocol. Completed within 48 hours once evaluation has been initiated.
  • Provides effective and adequate treatment.
  • Implements effective and adequate treatment following department guidelines.
  • Ongoing assessment of treatment effectiveness.
  • Goals and treatment are modified as appropriate in relation to working toward goals.
  • Selects appropriate treatment interventions.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Completed an accredited school of Speech Pathology and Previous experience as a Speech Pathologist or Speech Pathologist student/ intern.
  • Speech Language Pathologist: CA, within 6 - months
  • Basic Life Support - CPR
  • Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology, within 12 - months
