We are seeking an experienced and driven Service Shop Foreman to join our Five Star Chevrolet dealership. This leadership role is responsible for assisting technicians with diagnostics, maintaining shop productivity, ensuring repair quality, and supporting a high-performing service department focused on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workflow and shop productivity 
• Assist technicians with advanced diagnostics and complex Chevrolet repairs 
• Ensure repairs are completed accurately and according to GM standards 
• Support technicians with technical guidance and training 
• Monitor repair quality, efficiency, and comeback prevention 
• Coordinate with Service Advisors and management to prioritize work 
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment 
• Assist with warranty procedures and manufacturer compliance 
• Promote teamwork and a positive culture within the service department  

Requirements

• Previous automotive technician experience required 
• Chevrolet/GM experience preferred      
• Prior foreman or leadership experience strongly preferred 
• GM certifications preferred 
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills 
• Ability to lead and motivate technicians in a fast-paced environment 
• Excellent communication and organizational skills 
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen prior to employment
