Job DetailsLevel: ManagementJob Location: Carrollton, TX 75006Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $25.00 - $30.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: Up to 50% Job Shift: Open Availability Day ShiftJob Category: HorticultureJob Summary                                                                                                                                                                                         Moon Valley Nurseries Stump Crew Foreman is responsible for leading a team who perform stump grinding and other maintenance related duties for tree removal.    Key Duties and Responsibilities                                                                                                                                              Review jobs for the day Clean all trucks and confirm proper equipment is stocked on the truck. i.e., which grinder will be needed to complete all jobs. Check in to truck with Samsara. Apply all safety requirements and OSHA standards. Get all members of the crew safely to each jobsite. Taking before and after photos and uploading them to Samsara Job walk-throughs with the customer before and after work is completed. All grinding areas are prepared with a safety shield. Ensure all team members are in required PPE. Keeping teams on schedule QualificationsQualifications: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities                                                                                                                  Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a DOT Physical Must understand blue stake and utility markings. 1-3 years of stump grinding experience The ability to follow detailed instructions and take directions. The ability to work as a team. 1-3 years of prior landscaping experience Education                                                                                                                                                                                              High School Diploma or GED   Physical requirements/Working conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to verbally exchange information with colleagues, managers and vendors. The position is active and may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day. The employee must frequently reach for, pull, lift, and/or move items weighing up to and over 75 lbs.
