Provides advanced technical expertise and guidance in thedesign, modernization, and support of the agency鈥檚 mission鈥慶ritical softwaresystems. Modernizes legacy VB.NET / .NET Framework applications into C# and.NET 8+. Ensures solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with agency needs.Leverages Azure DevOps for CI/CD, version control, and work tracking. Worksunder a highly skilled and experienced team.
Experienceand Skills Required:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 .NET 8+ and C# development
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Azure DevOps for CI/CD, version control, and work tracking
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong analytical and communication skills
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining securecustom web applications using C#/.NET, Razor Pages, Entity Framework, andMicrosoft SQL Server
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience deploying, configuring, and troubleshootingapplications hosted on IIS in on-premises Windows Server environments
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong working knowledge of relational database design,stored procedures, migrations, data classification/governance, audit trail, andsecure handling of sensitive application data
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to work on public-facing and internal enterpriseapplications where security, reliability, auditability, regulatory/statutorycompliance, and operational stability are critical
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Familiarity with authentication, authorization, role-basedaccess control, secure configuration management, logging, and error handlingfor production web applications
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience working within restricted or high-securityenterprise environments where arbitrary third-party dependencies, public APIs,SaaS platforms, or common cloud services may not be approved or available
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Operational risk management, ability to understand and safelymodify existing codebases, including legacy systems, without introducingunnecessary architectural complexity or risk
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong documentation, communication, and source controlpractices, with the ability to thoughtfully coordinate changes acrossdevelopment, test, and production environments
TheContractor/Technician agrees to the following scope of work whichshould include but may not be limited to:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Design, develop, and maintain secure web applications using C#/.NET,Razor Pages, Entity Framework, and Microsoft SQL Server
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications hosted on IIS inon-premises Windows Server environments
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, version control, and worktracking using Azure DevOps
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure solutions meet agency requirements for security, scalability,reliability, auditability, and compliance
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliversolutions aligned with agency needs
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain strong documentation and coordinate changes across development,test, and production environments
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Operate within restricted or high-security enterprise environments,adhering to agency policies regarding third-party dependencies and cloudservices
