Job Description:
Sandhills Adult & Teen Challenge (ATC) is a faith-based substance use disorder treatment organization serving adults in the Sandhills region of North Carolina. We are seeking a licensed MD, PA, or NP to provide PRN medical support to our Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP).
What You'll Do
  • Review ASAM Continuum assessments and provide diagnostic confirmation or clarification
  • Complete and sign Level of Care (LOC) 2.1 service orders for eligible SAIOP clients
  • Collaborate with licensed counselors and clinical staff to ensure medically appropriate placement decisions
  • Maintain documentation compliant with NC DHHS, payer, and accreditation requirements
  • Participate in case consultation on an as-needed basis
Who We're Looking For
  • Active, unrestricted NC license as MD, DO, PA, or NP (required)
  • DEA registration (preferred)
  • Experience in substance use disorder, addiction medicine, or behavioral health (preferred)
  • Familiarity with ASAM Criteria and Level of Care determination (strongly preferred)
