Lead. Grow. Take the Next Step in Your Career. About the Role Are you a top-producing sales professional ready to take the next step into leadership without sacrificing your earning potential? We are seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to help lead our dynamic showroom floor. This is a hands-on sales leadership role where you will continue to build your own sales while taking on additional responsibility for supporting and developing the team. This is a commission-based position with a forgivable draw based on the applicable minimum wage. You will lead by example—excelling in direct guest sales while coaching team members, assisting with closing opportunities, and helping deliver an exceptional guest experience. You’ll work closely with the Sales Manager and Store Manager to drive sales performance, support the team, and help create a positive, competitive, customer-focused showroom environment. We believe in promoting from within and giving high-performing team members opportunities to take on greater leadership responsibilities as they grow. Compensation  Approximately $60,000 average first-year earnings  Unlimited commission potential on personal sales  Monthly bonus opportunities on personal sales  Forgivable draw based on the applicable minimum wage for hours worked. If your earned commissions are below the draw, the shortfall is forgiven—you do not repay it or carry it forward against future commissions.  Top performers can earn $100,000+ annually  Highest earner at Regency Management Services has earned over $150,000  Eligibility for select store performance bonuses  Additional $150 per week for Assistant Sales Manager responsibilities  Responsibilities  Continue personal selling while supporting the sales team on the showroom floor  Lead by example in customer service, product knowledge, selling, and closing  Coach and encourage sales associates to stay focused on goals and customer needs  Assist team members with sales opportunities and closing strategies  Share product knowledge and effective selling techniques  Help create a positive, competitive, customer-focused showroom environment  Assist with onboarding, training, and development of new and existing associates  Support promotions, financing programs, and company sales initiatives  Help address customer concerns and resolve issues professionally  Assist the Sales Manager and Store Manager with sales-floor leadership and daily execution  Help maintain an organized, engaging, and customer-ready showroom  Participate in ongoing sales and leadership training  Qualifications  Previous retail sales or customer service experience required  Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals  Strong interest in developing leadership skills  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  Positive, energetic, self-motivated, and customer-focused  Competitive and results-oriented with strong accountability  Comfortable coaching and providing support or direction to fellow associates  Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills  Furniture, mattress, home furnishings, or retail sales experience is a plus  Bilingual skills are a plus  Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak retail hours  Benefits  Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance  401(k) Retirement Plan  Paid Vacation, Holidays & PTO  Employee Discounts on Furniture, Mattresses & Home Décor  About Us Regency Furniture is part of Regency Management Services, which operates 75+ locations across Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.
