Step Up Family Services is seeking a clinically licensed therapist (LSW, LAC, LCSW or LPC) to join our growing outpatient counseling team for a varied caseload of children through adults. Caseloads and hours are flexible based on your availability. Experience in working with children and adolescents is preferred. Days, evening and weekend hours available. Not required to get your own referrals.

$40-$70 per session plus bonuses


Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide behavioral health and mental counseling service according to written treatment plan for assigned youth or client.
  • Create treatment plan specific to youth and family needs.
  •  Provide mental health and behavioral health counseling according to the needs of the youth and family.
  • Complete assessments if and when appropriate for licensing level (clinically licensed).

Technological Development

  1. Learn and utilize required software to input daily progress notes and implement services per appropriate treatment plan.
  2. Learn and utilize required software for accurate and consistent billing submissions.
  3. Work in accordance with the Milwaukee Wraparound model in coordination with all referring agencies.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

LSW, LAC, LCSW, LPC, LMFT

Knowledge of best practices within their appropriate licensing board and within the community setting

Ability to build cooperation and collaboration

Driver’s License

Experience:
