Associated Materials is a leader in exterior building products for residential and commercial remodeling and new construction markets. We produce vinyl windows, vinyl and composite siding and accessories, and metal building products--and distribute other essential building products to ensure customers find everything they need for their exterior.

Job Description (End of Line Inspector)

We are searching for a motivated End of Line Inspector Associate that will be part of our manufacturing plant. As a dedicated team and AM family member, our EOLs are vital to the success of our business and operations. In your role with Associated Materials, you will ensure our products maintain the highest level of quality satisfaction our customers expect. Responsibilities:

  • The EOL Inspector is stationed at the end of each production line and is seen as an extension of the Quality department.
  • Each window is inspected to ensure compliance with both the production and AAMA labels. Inspections include looking at model, size, and product options, including hardware, glass, grids, etc.
  • Windows that pass inspection are signed off by the EOL and moved on to Shipping. Any noncompliance should be reported immediately to the line Supervisor and Quality Auditor.
  • Other duties as assigned, including housekeeping and cross training to become proficient across multiple positions and production lines.

What we're looking for:

  • Preferred experience of 1-2 years in a manufacturing / production environment
  • Ability to adapt in fast-paced environment and motivated to become well-versed within multiple areas of operations.
  • Strong attention detail and willingness to work independently or as part of a team and contribute to all areas of operations.
  • Clear communication to all team members and able to read / comprehend English language (Fully Bi-lingual) is a plus in Spanish and English
  • Understand how to collaborate with a variety of different people and roles.
  • Committed to cross-train, learn, and develop your skillset further.
  • One who values diversity and takes pride in building a team together.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical fitness to include movements, positioning, remaining stationary which include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing).
  • Able to lift-up to 50 lbs. at any given time.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Work in different temperature-controlled environments
