The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for performing MRI imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Positions, moves, and assists patients to ensure accurate imaging results. This role performs clerical duties and provides basic patient care within the scope of practice and departmental standards. In addition, this position adheres to MRI safety guidelines, compliance plans, and regulations of local, state, and federal agencies.

Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.
Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.Â
Educates patients and family members about MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions, promoting comfort and cooperation throughout the exam.
Positions patients accurately and comfortably using appropriate immobilization and coil placement techniques to ensure high-quality imaging.
- Prepares and administers IV contrast material following safety guidelines and monitors patients for adverse reactions.Â
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)ARRT)) OR American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
