Warehouse Associate - 1st Shift

Job Details: Job Location: Centralia - Centralia, IL, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $20.50 - $20.50Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Any, Job Category: Warehouse, SCHEDULE 9am - 530pm M-F PAY 20.50/hr Eligible to earn $100/quarter in safety bonuses  POSITION SUMMARYLoads outbound trucks, unloads and puts away inbound merchandise, and performs clean-up duties.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Unloads materials from our customers’ and suppliers’ trucks. Put away or stock inbound materials. Pulls customers’ orders from inventory on hand. Load company and customer vehicles with outbound materials. Safely operate a forklift to assist in handling of materials. Sweep and clean warehouse and pick up trash. Observe all safety rules: (i.e. safety glasses, ear plugs, Lock Out/Tag Out, etc.). Assist in counting inventory. Checks in merchandise from receiving documentation.Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS  Must be able to read and write so that written instructions and shipping papers can be easily Followed and that corrections and needed information can be easily filled. Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem. Must be able to pass our forklift operators test after a normal training procedure. Must be able to work in a team environment.EDUCATIONHigh school diploma or GED required.EXPERIENCEKnowledge of building materials a plus.
