The position is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit with a capacity of 17 beds.
The role involves utilizing nursing and physical medicine therapies in a trans-disciplinary team approach to family-centered care.
Candidates are required to have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant nursing role and will be compensated with a salary of $50,000 per year.
The position is PRN, requiring at least 24 hours of off-shift work within a 6-week schedule, including 12-hour day, evening, and night shifts as well as weekends and holidays as needed.
The LPN will be responsible for direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse and will include IV therapy as part of their duties.

LPN - Acute Rehabilitation Unit

17 bed unit
Utilizes nursing and physical medicine therapies in the trans-disciplinary team approach to family-centered care
Interdisciplinary approach to Performance Improvement, Education, Policy/Procedure and Delivery of Care
Resources and support for advanced training and certification in Rehabilitation Nursing
PRN - will need to work a min of 24 hours off shift per 6 week schedule
12 hour day/evening/night
Weekend and Holiday as needed

Position Function: The Licensed Practical Nurse functions as an integral part of the patient care team by providing and being accountable for direct patient care under the supervision of the registered nurse. The LPN III role includes IV therapy and reflects the full scope of the practice as outlined in the 1990 and future revisions / additions of the PA Practical Nurse Law. Included is recognition and treatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit.
