Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Assignment Details

  • Start Date: September 8, 2026 (Approx.)
  • End Date: June 10, 2027
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Hours: 32.5 hours per week

Position Overview

Anoka-Hennepin School District is seeking Highly Qualified Paraprofessionals to support elementary students at Champlin Brooklyn Park Academy.
Openings are available across multiple special education programs, including:

  • Resource Program
  • Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) Center-Based Program
  • Ready Set LAUNCH Center-Based Program

Responsibilities

  • Provide instructional and behavioral support to students receiving special education services.
  • Assist students in classroom and learning activities.
  • Support students with daily living needs as required.
  • Toileting assistance is an expected responsibility for all paraprofessionals.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates must be Highly Qualified through one of the following:

  • Pass the Minnesota Para Educator (Highly Qualified Para) Exam, or
  • Have at least 60 college credits with official college transcripts.
