Shipping Associates have the opportunity to advance to the next tier by developing the required skills, demonstrating proficiency, and meeting the qualifications outlined for that level. This opportunity is available on first and second shift. Experience is required.1st shift hours: 8am-2:30pm, M-F2nd shift hours: 2pm-12:30am, M-ThShipping Associate I - 1st shift: $26.88 - 2nd shift: $29.30 Build pallets for shipping and processing orders using hand/power tools Piece by piece order assembly  Frequent handling of various sizes of steel components weighing up to 100 lbs  Utilize technology for processing jobs and communication (Clocking, Inventory, Job Completion, ShipHawk) Load and unload all forms of trucking/shipping Assist in training employees in the work center with current knowledge base Mandatory overtime when business conditions require it Adherence to the attendance policy All other duties as required Shipping Associate II - $29.30 All duties required by Shipping Associate I Utilize technology to prioritize work autonomouslyQualifications: Experience in shipping/receiving and material handling is required Material handling of steel parts/components is highly preferred Ability to follow detailed instructions and work well with others Excellent organizational skills for maintaining inventory levels and stock management Problem-solving skills for resolving shipping discrepancies and customer issues Applicants must pass a pre-employment physical, drug test, and background check as a prerequisite of employment Safety Rail Company BENEFITS include: Competitive Pay and Overtime available 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with company contribution and company profit sharing Paid Time Off for Holidays, Vacation and Sick Time     Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance 100% Company paid Life Insurance, Long Term Disability and Short-Term Disability Insurance    Manufacturing and Warehouse positions are also eligible for a quarterly bonus All work tools and workwear provided, including an optional uniform pants program Generous reimbursement benefits for safety boots and prescription safety glasses
