Description

Join the Ted Britt Automotive Group Team! We are seeking skilled and experienced Automotive Diesel Technicians to join our growing service department. If you are passionate about diesel technology, take pride in your workmanship, and want to work with a professional team, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, and emissions components.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on diesel vehicles.
  • Communicate with service advisors regarding needed repairs and time estimates.
  • Ensure all work is performed to manufacturer and dealership standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical training and certifications.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of diesel repair experience (dealership experience preferred).
  • ASE Diesel Certification(s) or manufacturer certification(s) strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools, computers, and specialized equipment.
  • Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and emission controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret service manuals and wiring diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and mechanical skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
