Join the Ted Britt Automotive Group Team! We are seeking skilled and experienced Automotive Diesel Technicians to join our growing service department. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, and emissions components.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on diesel vehicles.
- Communicate with service advisors regarding needed repairs and time estimates.
- Ensure all work is performed to manufacturer and dealership standards.
- Maintain up-to-date technical training and certifications.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of diesel repair experience (dealership experience preferred).
- ASE Diesel Certification(s) or manufacturer certification(s) strongly preferred.
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools, computers, and specialized equipment.
- Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and emission controls.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving and mechanical skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
