FTS has an opportunity for a GEOINT Systems Engineer in Chantilly, VA.

 

The GEOINT Systems Engineer Provide systems engineering and technical assistance (SETA) support.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the customer in the definition of architecture concepts, engineering designs reviews, analysis, and decisions pertaining to integration and display of satellite resiliency mission applications/capabilities

  • Advise and coordinate on tasks/activities associated with ground architecture, systems engineering, systems integration, and deployment related to future satellite resiliency ground system

  • Participate and represent the customer in various Government and contractor meetings and attend contractor programmatic and technical reviews (e.g. PMR, PDR, CDR, SCR, DQR, and other onsite daily meetings) to provide technical and programmatic-based system recommendations and risk assessments

  • Provide proactive support to the Government customer and tasks

  • Author, review, and coordinate documents and data to aid the Government in decision-making

  • Review contractor deliverables for compliance with contract requirements

  • Utilize Confluence and JIRA to document/monitor program epic requirements

  • Collaborate with Government and contractor to prioritize program epic development needs/roadmap

  • Support development of acceptance criteria, as well as traceability/verification of all requirements

 

 

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • TS/SCI with polygraph 

  • BS STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) in engineering discipline 

  • 10+ years' relevant experience

  • Experience with Confluence, Jira or similar

  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, team building and problem-solving skills with an ability to be effective in a government/contractor team environment

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

 

 

Desired Skills/Qualifications

  • MS STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) in engineering discipline
