Systems Engineer- Collection and Mission Management (Mid)
Position Summary This role serves as the primary System Engineer facilitating objectives for a US Government Agency focusing on mission management, collections, and requirements management. The Collections manager will act as the key interface to establish, foster, build and solidify relationships with the Nation Space Defense Center (NSDC), USSPACECOM and USSF. The role emphasizes integrating intelligence capabilities in support of joint strategic planning, warfighter operations, exercises, and readiness objectives. The employee will ensure organizational equities are represented in multi-agency coordination. This position requires extensive knowledge of Component Command structures, operations, and US Government priorities surrounding Space and Counter Space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advisory services orchestrating and supporting Intelligence Planning (IP). Understand the IP process at commands and organizations to integrate all available intelligence capabilities in support of the Joint Strategic Planning Systems and Joint Planning.
  • Coordinate and integrate sensitive capabilities and activities for the joint warfighter operations, plans and exercises.
  • As needed, participate in command-level IP activities for the Joint and Partner Exercise Life Cycle to align Branch resources with warfighter readiness goals.
  • Monitor Collection Requirements Lifecycle: track and monitor validated collection requirements, advocate for organizational needs, and ensure up-to-date representation in requirements matrices.
  • Apply collection management tradecraft to capture highly technical intelligence requirements and articulate information required to satisfy them.
  • Optimize requirements by building relationships with customers to identify intelligence needs and gaps, researching existing requirements.
  • Facilitate Integrated Planning and Exercise Support: Participate in any Integrated Product Team (IPT) and Community of Interest (COI) meetings addressing US Government equities.
  • Coordinate planning efforts with other agency offices and external entities.
  • Provide leadership updates to ensure alignment of mission priorities.
  • Ensure intelligence plans and strategies align with relevant policies, directives and guidance.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years in intelligence planning, collections management, and requirement management roles with the IC or DoW, with demonstrated expertise in Component Command operations, structures and relationship-building.
  • Proficient in collections management tradecraft, requirements de-confliction, and multi-INT solutions.
  • Ability to analyze risk, prioritize requirements and anticipate customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and briefing skills for senior leadership.

Work Environment:

  • Location:   Colorado Springs CO

  • Travel Requirements: Travel required After the start You will be in VA with KBR and Customer for up to 30 days

  • Working Hours: Standard 40 hours weeks

Basic Compensation:

$130,500 - $150,800 USD annually

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
