SAIC is seeking an experienced Acquisition Specialist to support the establishment of a large-scale infrastructure for Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research & Development (R&D). The program operates under an awarded IDIQ contract with multiple task orders and separate contract mechanisms for network connectivity, data management, and experimentation support.Â
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Â
- Trusted Acquisition Advisor to Government and Program staffÂ
- Support ongoing task order development, evaluation, and award for follow-on capabilities
- Monitor contractor performance against SOW/PWS requirements and aggressive delivery milestones
- Track deliverables against Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) including Project Management Plan and design reviews
- Support COTR and CLIN managers with technical evaluation of contractor submissionsÂ
- Coordinate across multiple contract mechanisms (IDIQ, network connectivity, data management, experimentation support)
- Support preparation of contract modification packages as program requirements mature
- Coordinate with financial teams on obligation tracking, expenditure monitoring, and accounting treatment across contract ceiling
- Prepare acquisition status briefs and risk assessments for leadership
- Maintain contract documentation and lessons learned
