As a Business Analyst, you will serve as a dedicated team member who has primary responsibility to support the development team to successfully achieve their daily, iteration, and release goals and delivery objectives. They do so by effectively eliciting, documenting, communicating, and prioritizing business requirements from clients while applying, implementing and enforcing Scrum principles and practices. The Business Analyst will support and facilitate a team dynamic intended to maximize performance of the team and will assist with continuously improving agile practices.Â
Other responsibilities to include but not be limited to:Â
- Formation and definition of project activities and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Â
- Develops understanding of business needs of multiple stakeholders and/or product owner through a variety of elicitation techniques. Â
- Facilitates the negotiation of requirements amongst stakeholders, product owner, and project manager. Â
- Helps business stakeholders envision how their processes will change with implementation of solutions. Â
- Builds requirements to accurately and thoroughly capture business needs and ensures user stories are concise and complete. Â
- Builds and updates system requirements specification documents or other requirements related artifacts.  Â
- Able to interact with technical staff and work collaboratively to define technical solutions to solve business needs. Â
- Able to perform responsibilities utilizing agile software development methodologies.Â
Qualifications
Desired Skills and Experience:Â
- Bachelor's Degree with experience in a related Information Technology fieldÂ
- Experience in developing requirementsÂ
- Experience writing technical documents Â
- Excellent writing and communication skillsÂ
- Able to take initiative, manage own workload, and assume responsibility for tasksÂ
- Able to multi-task, handle multiple projects, and meet internal and client deadlines    Â
- Proactively seeks opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processesÂ
- Contributes to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization Agile process life cycleÂ
- Strong written and communication skills requiredÂ
- Must have Agile experience; methodologies and tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar)Â
- Experience with User Interface designs and mockupsÂ
- Prior experience with building solutions using Microsoft Power Apps or Dynamics, Power Platform, and Power BI is highly desirable.Â
- Previous experience working with Government clients is highly desirableÂ
- Must have experience in conducting daily stand-up meetings, planning and review sessions, prioritizing tasks and mitigating roadblocksÂ
Required Clearance:Â
- Must be US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a high risk public trust clearance.

USD $135,000.00/Yr.Salary Range
The salary range for this position represents Acuity's good faith estimate of the compensation for this job title at the time of posting.
