Assisting Hands Home Care is looking for a compassionate and committed caregiver, PCA, HHA, or CNA to support a client in Chantilly who is living with dementia.

Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am to 12pm
Sunday from 8am to 12pm

What will you do?

Cognitive support and dementia‑appropriate engagement
Personal Care Assistance (bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding)
Transferring, lifting and mobility assistance
Light housekeeping
Grocery Shopping
Meal preparation
Companionship / Supervision
Medication reminders
Transportation to doctor appointments and errands
Documentation in client's records of the care provided after each visit

What we need from you?

Experience working with clients with dementia (required)
Have a valid PCA, HHA or CNA certificate
CPR certification
Proof of a negative tuberculosis (TB) screening
Ability to pass a background check
Reliable Personal Transportation
Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
Ability to lift 25 lbs. and assist with transfers
