WHAT YOU'LL DO
路 Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
路 Work on light-duty vehicles, commercial trucks, tractors, trailers, and other fleet assets.
路 Perform basic 12V/24V wiring, including power, ignition, ground, diagnostic, and trailer connections.
路 Route and secure wiring for clean, professional installations.
路 Test GPS, cellular connectivity, cameras, sensors, and system functionality.
路 Diagnose electrical, connectivity, and installation issues.
路 Document completed installations with photos, device information, and service notes.
路 Travel to customer and fleet locations for mobile installations and projects.
路 Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and right-first-time installations.
MECHANIC EXPERIENCE? WE WANT YOU.
Your automotive experience can be a strong foundation for this role. Candidates with backgrounds in:
路 Automotive repair
路 Automotive electrical
路 Fleet maintenance
路 Diesel/heavy-duty mechanics
路 Vehicle upfitting
路 Mobile service
路 ADAS/diagnostics
路 Telematics or vehicle electronics are encouraged to apply.
You don't need to know every telematics system on day one. We鈥檙e looking for strong technical aptitude, hands-on experience, and the ability to learn.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
路 Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
路 Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and basic diagnostics.
路 Comfortable using hand and power tools.
路 Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and technical instructions.
路 Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
路 Comfortable working independently in a mobile environment.
路 Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
路 Professional communication and customer service skills.
路 Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
路 Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in, around, and underneath vehicles and trailers.
路 21+ years of age
NICE TO HAVE
路 Telematics/GPS/ELD installation experience.
路 Experience with Samsara, Geotab, Motive, Verizon Connect, Lytx, or similar platforms.
路 12V/24V electrical experience.
路 Commercial truck or trailer experience.
路 ADAS scanning or calibration experience.
路 ASE, I-CAR, or related certifications.
