Position Overview:

Service repair technicians are responsible for the care and maintenance of small engine law care equipment. They play a critical role in upholding our reputation for exceeding our customers’ expectations. 

Key Responsibilities:

· Responsible for inspecting, diagnosing and repairing small engine equipment such as Toro, Ventrac, Exmark, Scag, and Stihl

· Perform scheduled maintenance, including oil change, hydraulic fluid and all necessary filters and fluids in a variety of agricultural equipment

· Maintain technical and product knowledge on various equipment lines

· Responsible for the cleanliness of finished products

· Works with the Service Writer to order parts as needed

· Responsible for maintaining accurate records for repairs, service work orders, inventory and tagging and identifying parts for warranty

· Responsible for maintaining personal tools, work area, shop and shop tools 

·  Maintain a clean, safe, and organized service area, following all safety regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

· Certifications from STIHL, Kohler, Toro, Exmark, Briggs and Stratton

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

· Minimum of 2 years of experience working on gasoline and diesel small engines

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Must have the ability to read and analyze documents and procedure manual

· Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

· Must be able to routinely lift up to 75 pounds
