Associate’s Degree in business administration or related field is preferred. Work experience: Previous Administrative Support experience in a health care setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to multi-task in a business environment. Demonstrated willingness to take on varied responsibilities and work as part of a team to ensure the overall success of the Program. Excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of humor are a plus. Documented knowledge and excellent computer and Microsoft Office proficiency. Ability to maintain and protect client confidentiality and privacy is essential. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for organizing and coordinating a variety of administrative and clerical tasks for the Program or designated department to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include but are not limited to providing administrative support to Program managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs, coordinating general administrative activities, preparing reports, and maintaining appropriate filing systems. Responsible for screening calls and responds to and routes routine inquiries from external or internal sources with appropriate correspondence or other messaging. Schedules and coordinates meetings, referrals, other group activities, and maintains calendars accordingly.
