We’re seeking a Quality Engineer to improve product quality, support manufacturing performance, and drive corrective action across a production environment. This role is a strong fit for someone who can work closely with operations, engineering, suppliers, and customers to prevent defects and resolve quality issues at the root cause level.

Key Responsibilities

Support quality planning, process validation, and production readiness for new and existing products.
Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions using structured problem-solving methods.
Review nonconforming material, customer concerns, internal defects, and process issues to determine proper containment and resolution.
Conduct process, product, and system audits to verify compliance with internal and external requirements.
Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and supplier teams to improve yield, reduce defects, and maintain quality documentation.

Qualifications

5+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Automotive industry experience strongly preferred.
Background supporting molding, assembly, or production-based processes.
Experience with PFMEAs, control plans, corrective actions, and quality documentation.
Working knowledge of 8D and 5-Why problem-solving methods.
Familiarity with ISO 9000 and IATF 16949 quality management systems.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
Strong communication, organization, analytical thinking, and follow-through skills.
