We’re looking for a Counselor on our Resource Team based in our Charlotte, NC office who is passionate about making an impact, someone who brings both clinical expertise and genuine care to the work they do every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing evidence-based counseling and education to individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges 
  • Supporting clients in developing treatment and discharge plans 
  • Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment approaches as needed 
  • Documenting client progress accurately and within required time frames
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to support client care 
  • Counseling and supporting family members as part of the recovery process 
  • Coordinating care and connecting clients to additional support services 
  • Assisting with authorization documentation and treatment approvals 
  • Participating in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development 
  • Ensuring compliance with all agencies, state, and federal guidelines

What You Bring

You have a background in Counseling, Addiction Studies, or a related field (Bachelor’s or master’s preferred), along with one of the following:

  • LCAS, LCMHC, LMFT, or LCSW (or associate status)
    or
  • CADC (or intern status recognized by NCASPPB or reciprocal state) 

You’re comfortable using EHR systems and Microsoft Office tools, and you understand the importance of accurate documentation, confidentiality, and ethical care (HIPAA compliance).
